ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Route J WWTP RAS/WAS Pump Replacement, H&S Project No. 1807604 will be received by the City of Mexico, 300 N. Coal Street, Mexico, MO 65265 until 10:00 AM local time on March 22, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The primary component of this project is the removal and replacement of two (2) existing sludge (RAS/WAS) pumps designated SP-1 and SP-3 at The City of Mexico, MO’s Route J WWTP in Audrain County, Missouri.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office electronically for a cost of $15.
Bidders are informed that the Project is subject to the requirements of Section 292.675 RSMo, which requires all contractors or subcontractors doing work on the Project to provide, and require its on-site employees to complete, a ten (10) hour course in construction safety and health approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or a similar program approved by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations that is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program.
City of Mexico (the Owner) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids for a sound, documented reason.
