Both residential and commercial properties receive water service through Missouri American Water Company. The company's water treatment plant has the capacity to produce 4 million gallons of softened water per day. The water source is from deep wells in the area's aquifer. Trash Collection
Mexico licenses Dayne's Waste Disposal Inc. to provide trash collection within the city limits.

Telecommunications
Mexico connects to the rest of the world through fiber optic, cellular, and wireless services.
