The City of Mexico opened its Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility located between the Singleton Maintenance Center and Mexico Animal Shelter, 201 South Morris, on Wednesday April 9, 2008.
The facility is open to the residents of Mexico and Audrain County by appointment only every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from noon until 3 p.m. This service is provided at no cost to the residents.
